Tim is CSO and general manager of CalTIC GmbH. With a background in biotechnology, Tim has many years of experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery and development, overseeing diverse projects at the LDC as scientific lead, unit head of the "Dortmund Protein Facility" and project manager. Following stints at the SALK institute (La Jolla, San Diego, USA) and AstraZeneca (Macclesfield, UK) during his studies at the Technische Universität Carolo Wilhelmina zu Braunschweig, he did his PhD in protein biochemistry and structural biology of small GTPases at the Max Planck Institute in Dortmund. Tim's work in the fields of protein-protein interaction, assay development and oncological drug discovery has been published in various journals and and led to several patents.
