Robin is Associate Professor of Chemical Biology at the University of Leeds, UK. He has more than 15 years of experience leading research projects that support early-stage drug discovery. His group studies the molecular interactions - and their functional implications - of disease-relevant proteins and bioactive small molecules, with special focus on calcium-permeable ion channels of the TRPC family. In recent years, his group has unravelled mechanisms of pharmacological modulation of TRPC channels.
